This Law Enforcement & Legal Requests Policy describes how Seraphex Inc (“Seraphex”) responds to requests for customer data from law enforcement agencies, government authorities, courts, and other legal entities. This policy is intended to promote transparency, protect customer trust, and ensure compliance with applicable law.
This policy applies to all requests seeking access to customer data, account information, usage data, content, or metadata associated with Seraphex products and services, including KDesk.
Seraphex takes customer privacy and data protection seriously. We do not voluntarily provide customer data to law enforcement or government authorities. Customer data is disclosed only when Seraphex determines that disclosure is legally required and supported by valid, binding legal process.
Seraphex reviews all legal requests for validity and scope. We require requests to be supported by appropriate legal authority, such as:
Requests that are overly broad, unclear, or not legally valid may be challenged, rejected, or narrowed.
When disclosure is legally required, Seraphex seeks to provide only the minimum amount of data necessary to comply with the request. We do not provide bulk data, unrestricted access, or data unrelated to the specific legal request.
Where permitted by law and not prohibited by a valid legal order (such as a gag order), Seraphex will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers before disclosing their data, or promptly thereafter.
In limited circumstances involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, Seraphex may disclose information without prior legal process if required by law. Such disclosures are limited, documented, and reviewed internally.
Seraphex does not respond directly to foreign government requests unless they are made through appropriate legal channels, such as mutual legal assistance treaties (MLATs) or other recognized international legal mechanisms.
Seraphex maintains internal records of legal requests for customer data and our responses to those requests. Where appropriate, Seraphex may publish aggregate or anonymized information regarding legal requests as part of transparency or trust reporting.
All law enforcement, government, or legal requests for customer data must be submitted to:
